In Topic: Which web Editor do you use?

13 May 2011 - 10:27 AM

Notepad.

i don't trust WYSIWYG editors anymore. I tried out Dreamweaver a few years ago (like 5+) and it was awful. It completely mangled all of the code into a huge mess until even it couldnt decipher it eventually. Ever since then I've just used Notepad or Notepad++. How far have WSIWYG editors come? It's been a long time since I tried one, but are they still an utter mess on the coding end?

In Topic: What are your favorite 5 PC games of all time?

13 May 2011 - 10:24 AM

Wow thats a tough one. Most my favorites arent PC exclusive but I assume that's ok to list. Anyway:
1. Mass Effect 2
2. The Witcher
3. Max Payne
4. Fallout: New Vegas
5. League of Legends

In Topic: What was the last game you bought?

13 May 2011 - 10:23 AM

Portal 2. I don't buy many games anymore since I find most of them to be quite boring. Portal 2 was definitely worth it though, the single player is great and multiplayer can be hilarious to play with friends.

Before that the last game I bought was World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

I really love World of Warcraft but I have stopped enjoying it with every expansion pack. Just modifying the gameplay every year seems silly. This is the reason why its popularity has also decreased.

I definitely agree. There is only so long you can keep feeding the same people the same game before they get burned out. I'm sure WoW will turn a profit for quite a long time and before it dies Blizzard's next MMO will be out.

In Topic: If the moon exploded, how would life on Earth be affected?

11 May 2011 - 06:21 AM

Are we talking about the moon disappearing or exploding? If it exploded my most immediate concern would be chunks of it hitting the earth which could do catastrophic damage and possibly end life on Earth. If by some miracle the moon blew up into tiny pieces or whatever then it would have a pretty significant effect on our tides. Tides would be consistent from day to day since it would no longer be effected by lunar cycles. Some species would die out that relied on the moon for light at night for hunting. Life would go on though.

What you really need to worry about is the super volcano at Yellowstone. If that goes off we're all dead.
