		<title>Civilization III Review</title>
		<link>https://gameon365.net/topic/2229-civilization-iii-review/</link>
		<description><![CDATA[I guess you heard of the Sid Meier's Civilization game. Now they published the new V part and its awesome but I can't play it at this moment since I got a wooden PC ( I got the chicken pox while I was staying at my parents hose and ended up with a wooden pc to somehow try and do stuff on it) but the good news is I can play Civilization III. It is a great strategy game where you control a nation you can even name it and give yourself a great title like SuperKing or Car or The Great King of All and such stuff. The first thing of all its the amazing game play that caught my attention and the ways you can communicate with your enemy. Its a really good game if you are bored and need to spend some hours alone. You start usually with a worker and a settler, well some civilizations have special units that are give to you at the start and others got some units that you can build later in the game. Building cities, expanding your territory, making war and peace, researching technology those are all the good stuff about this game. There are a lot of bad things in the game but that's not so unusually every game has its cons. The most thing I don't like about civilization III is that the fights are sometimes unrealistic and there are (at least my opinion) not so much options in creating your leader (King, Chief what ever ) . <br />But all in all this game is great if you got stuck with a wooden PC like i got stuck.<br /><br /><br />]]></description>

		<title>Fooling Your Friends: Flip Their Screen Upside Down!</title>
		<link>https://gameon365.net/topic/2052-fooling-your-friends-flip-their-screen-upside-down/</link>
		<description><![CDATA[Maybe you noticed we accidentally glued down the caps lock key this morning. That's quite unfortunate. But we'll pull through.<br />
<br />
However, maybe you're looking for something simple but ingenious to prank your friends, family, coworkers, and bosses (not a good idea) with. So, why not flip their screen upside down?<br />
<br />
On most systems, this is quite easy to do. For Windows 7, just right-click on the desktop and select Screen Resolution. From there, click the dropdown for Orientation and set it to Landscape (flipped). Click Apply, and you'll have some confused friends next time they use their computer.<br />
<br />
For any other operating system, just check the display options. Most will allow you to rotate the screen 180 degrees, which will give you the same effect.<br />
<br />
Have fun, and good luck!]]></description>

		<title>Call of Duty: Black Operations</title>
		<link>https://gameon365.net/topic/1035-call-of-duty-black-operations/</link>
		<description><![CDATA[Call of Duty: Black Operations (Black Ops)<br />
<br />
Some said it could be the most phenomenal Game that Treyarch have ever invented?<br />
<br />
So what happened to the rumors about Call of Duty: Viet Nam?<br />
Well eXtreme.NaTion are happy to say we got in contact with Treyarch and this is what they revealed: "Call of Duty 7: Viet Nam was planned and reviewed and we decided that to make a game over peoples misfortunes would be selfish. We got the Call of Duty 7: Black Ops idea after the Special Ops mode on the staggering Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. We asked Call of Duty Fanatics about the most enjoyable prospective on any Call of Duty, Surprisingly it was Multiplayer!". So this still doesn't answer our question, well, we can reveal World War 2 is Finally over and Treyarch have finally focused on futuristic warfare. They claim to have spend more time on multiplayer as that is what gamers seek the most in Call of Duty games.<br />
<br />
Surely this is the best Call of Duty there is, Just what to expect next?<br />

		<title>Nintendo 3DS Announced!</title>
		<link>https://gameon365.net/topic/943-nintendo-3ds-announced/</link>
		<description><![CDATA[<span style='font-family: verdana, geneva, lucida,'>In a not-so-shocking move, Nintendo has announced that their new handheld console is set for release by March 2011.<br /><br />This new console is, perhaps tentatively, called the "3DS", and, as the name would imply, allows for <strong class='bbc'>3D effects in gaming</strong>, supposedly without the need of 3D glasses!<br /><br />Any other information is scarce, other than being <strong class='bbc'>backwards compatible</strong> with DS/DSi games, but you can bet your Wii that Nintendo will reveal more this Summer at E3.<br /><br />More, rumored info:<ul class='bbc'><li>Larger twin screens closer in proximity</li><li>High-powered, like a GameCube, with NVIDIA Tegra</li><li>Built-in accelerometer, akin to iPhone/iPod Touch</li><li>Utilizes carts like a DS</li></ul>The second source includes a video of a DSiWare game that tracks movement with the camera. This could be some indication of how the 3DS may work, but it's not clear if this is the only 3D implementation.<br /><br />How will it work you ask?<br /><br />Lenticular Technology<br /><br /><br />"Nintendo is likely to use Lenticular Technology" says Neil Dodgson, a 3D displays expert at Cambridge University. A lenticular lens is an array of magnifying lenses, designed so that when viewed from slightly different angles, different images are magnified. The lenticules direct the pixels' light in different directions, so each eye sees only every alternate column of pixels. The graphics chip renders two images, one for the left eye and one for the right. These two images are displayed on the two sets of alternating columns of pixels.<br /><br />Dodgson adds that lenticular tech does have its own set of limitations, mainly that: "Once you have got the 3D effect you cannot move your head left/right very much because otherwise your right eye would switch to a zone where it sees the left eye's image and vice-versa". The other issue with the technology is that you will have to be within a certain distance of the screen or the 3D effect will be broken up. Eye traking via camera ( Just like when you take pictures with the DSi camera and the pictures follow your eyes) could be used to solve this problem.<br /><br />Analyst Michael Pachter thinks Nintendo is likely to aim for a similar price range to the £159.99 DSi XL. "Based on charging $189 (US) for the DSi XL, my guess is that Nintendo will try to charge at least that much,"<br /><br />Hopefully Nintendo works out the known problems with this technology so that we don't have to sit in a certain position to play our games enjoyably.<br /><strong class='bbc'><br /></strong><br /><strong class='bbc'><a href='http://www.friendcodes.com/forums/news-and-notes/160595-nintendos-3ds-technology-explained.html' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>Source</a></strong></span>]]></description>

The storyline chronicles the exploits of marshal-turned-rebel-leader Jim Raynor and features both familiar faces and new heroes. Players will be able to tailor the experience, choosing their own mission path and selecting technology and research upgrades to suit their playing style throughout the 29-mission campaign. <br /><br /> Several challenge-mode mini-games will also be included, with focused goals designed to ease players into the basics of multiplayer strategies. In addition, dozens of multiplayer maps will be available for competitive play through the new version of Battle.net, which is launching alongside <em class='bbc'>StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty</em>. This new version of the service has been built from the ground up to offer an unparalleled online play experience, with new features such as voice communication, character profiles and achievements, stat-tracking, ladders and leagues, cloud file storage, and more. <br /><br /> Additional information about <em class='bbc'>StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty</em>, including the release date, will be announced in the coming weeks.<br /><br /><br /><br />Original Article: <a href='http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/press/pressreleases.html?100408' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>http://us.blizzard.c...ses.html?100408</a>]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[About two weeks ago while I was in a boring study hall, I was talking to this kid who claimed he, his Dad, and his brother all played this one game for years and are still playing. I asked what game? (expecting WoW or Runescape) He said City of Heroes. I lol'd and was like "that game looked like shit" and he assured me it was fun, so I decided to download the trial, and then a week later I saw it along with its new expansion for sale at Gamestop for 10 bucks. I was like WTF? It's 15 bucks a month so this defeats the purpose. Anyways I bought it and am very glad I did so here's why you or anyone else should give this game a shot. Pros and cons here we go.<br /><br /><strong class='bbc'>Pros</strong><br />Good Graphics But Not To Difficult To Run<br />Factions (Hero, Villain)<br />Good PVP (one of the only games out that has decent PvP)<br />Best character customization I've seen, you WILL NOT see a player looking like you ever.<br />Cool Instances<br />Out since 2004 and still making expansions and updates<br />Newest expansion allows players to makes there own instances (I don't think any other games have that)<br />Shit load of classes and powers<br />There's no MMO anything like this<br />Helpful longtime non-noob players<br /><strong class='bbc'><br />Cons</strong><br />Servers are all light on population (Need to merge servers together)<br />End games not to strong except in PVP <br />Very little items (this is good for some)<br />15 Bucks a month (worth it, but always a con)<br />Same company as Aion (NCSoft)<br /><br />So heres the Trial 14 days free what do you have to lose? <a href='http://www.cityofheroes.com/trial/index.html' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>http://www.cityofher...rial/index.html</a><br /><br />&#91;url="<iframe id="ytplayer" class="EmbeddedVideo" type="text/html" width="640" height="390" src="http://youtube.com/embed/1Zxy-hJWoTY?html5=1&fs=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen /></iframe>&#93;]]></description>
