You are sitting home at your computer, reading this post, when suddenly you are informed by your friend that zombies are, indeed, on the loose. You look to the nearest window, or go down/up a floor to find a window at ground level. Taken by surprise, the undead are already after your scent, and a rotting corpse breaks through the window you glance out of and comes after you. You flee to your computer room and lock the door behind you, the undead hot on your trail, and soon claws begin to scrape on your door, and it becomes clear that you won't stay safe forever.

Look around the room. One item is your weapon.

You know when you find a great series and you really enjoy it.

And after some time you think its going to end and your already afraid of the very same end, but then it happens they lengthen the show or the series.

After some time you see that it isn't the same series you watched at the beginning.
The show/series gets boring and it seems like they just want it to go on forever.

Then you start wishing for the end because it doesn't make sense anymore.

This has happened to me a lot of times and I personally hate it when they do this to my favorite show or TV series. They make a soup opra out of it just so that they can have more episodes without caring for the events in the series.

Do you hate when this happens, I mean it's great to watch a show but everything has to have it's end sooner or later and it's better sooner when it's good then later when you start to hate it.

In the Movie Star Trek VI, the Klingon moon of Praxis exploded causing a massive cloud of dust around their planet. It was estimated that in 50 years from that event, the Klingon world would run out of oxygen. But that was just a Movie. .... My Question Is, If Our moon were to explode (for whatever reason), would that have a similar effect upon us on Earth as it had in the movie? Would it be many times worse or less? Just what Would happen to Life on Earth if it Really did happen to our moon?

some say that the world will end. some says their will be a new era. some says aliens or ufo or extra dimensional beings would make contact with us. do you have any other theories for 2012?? In my opinion the people who say these things are all deluded. There is not a single scientist in the whole world who believes that any of these things are going to happen.

"2012" is a hoax designed to scare children and adults who know nothing about science. There is no science behind it, and no scientists believe in it.

The world has existed for over four billion years. Is it reasonable to expect that it will come to an end next year? And all because of a Mayan calendar? Use some common sense.

The most interesting astronomical events in 2012 will be an annular eclipse of the Sun on 2012 May 20, a total eclipse of the Sun on 2012 Nov 13, and a transit of the planet Venus across the face of the Sun on 2012 Jun 06.

Scientists don't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the year 2012, or specifically on the date December 21, except for the solstice, which happens every year.

None of the "predicted" happenings for 2012 hold up under close scrutiny. "Planet X" and "Nibiru" simply don't exist. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, but there were no predictions of the end of the world. The Sun doesn't line up with the galactic centre; it's 5 degrees off, and happens on December 18 EVERY year. No asteroids or comets are actually predicted to hit Earth.

All of this stuff was put together by crackpots in order to promote their books and TV shows, and shamelessly promoted by the History Channel. Don't take any of it seriously!

The best way is to _inform yourself_ about 2012 by reading factual sites about it, rather than sites that are trying to sell you something.

I cannot think of a time I was at the wrong place at the wrong time, but I remember a time when a friend was. A bunch of friends and I were riding our bikes in a big group. One of the kids wasn't paying attention and swerved into the middle of the road and was completely ran over. He went under the car and everything. Lucky, he came out with a few scratches and bruises. He wasn't seriously hurt.

Here's a review I wrote a couple months back.
Field of Dreams Review
“If you build it, he will come” was a quote the unknown voice that followed
Ray Kinsella (played by Kevin Costner) through-out the story. Ray, a corn farmer from Iowa, seemed to be stranded in his life trying to get away from his fathers dream of being a baseball player. Field of Dreams (1989) is a classic combination of sport, family, fantasy, faith, reconciliation, and redemption. Phil Alden Robinson directed the movie that was based on a book by W.P. Kinsella.

One day, Ray decides to work on his corn crops only to hear a voice saying “If you build it, he will come”. This voice causes him to eventually go crazy. He thinks what the voice might want him to do and tells his feelings to his family. The only idea he can come up with is that he should build a baseball field in the middle of his crops. This is the part of the story you need to go along with the movie to actually enjoy it. With the support of his family, he finishes building the baseball stadium. After multiple days, a mysterious man in an old baseball uniform turns up on his baseball field out of nowhere. It turns out to be Shoeless Joe Jackson who was a famous, now dead, baseball player but has come back to play the game that he was banned from when he was alive. The story continues to spiral into more odd events and sends Ray onto an interesting journey.

Overall, I think Field of Dreams is an above average film. It seems that it is rather under-rated and deserves much more attention. I think any average movie watcher would enjoy this film not only baseball fanatics. The film is full of mixed emotions and will leave you thinking. I give the film 8.1 out of 10 stars.

This is a great movie! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through wondering what Welles (Nicholas Cage) would do next. I think that if you thought really hard early during the film, you could easily see the ending. Putting that aside, the film was amazing.

Don't get me wrong. It was an alright film, but it's way overrated. It's basically Pocahontas with minor plot edits, great visuals, and a different setting. It was well worth the two hours, though, I guess.

LOS ANGELES – Movie audiences are showing more appetite for Shrek than for sex over Memorial Day weekend.

DreamWorks Animation's sequel "Shrek Forever After" remained the No. 1 movie for a second weekend with $43.3 million from Friday to Sunday. The film raised its domestic total to $133.1 million.

That easily topped the Warner Bros. sequel "Sex and the City 2," which was No. 2 with a $32.1 million debut that came in far below the $56.8 million opening weekend of its predecessor two years ago. Along with a $14.2 million haul in its first day Thursday, "Sex and the City 2" has brought in $46.3 million.

Debuting at No. 3 with $30.2 million was Disney's action tale "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."

Even with bad reviews and a running time of nearly two and a half hours for "Sex and the City 2," many in Hollywood had expected the sequel to open at No. 1.

But the fourth "Shrek" installment, itself opening far below the previous sequels, held up strongly in its second weekend. Family crowds continued to pack theaters for what is billed as the final big-screen tale featuring voice stars Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas.

Women made up 90 percent of the audience for "Sex and the City 2," which reunites the stars of the HBO series — Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — for an adventure in Abu Dhabi.

Basically as the thread title says.. what do you like/dislike.

For a few years now i've been into techno, electro, trance, dance etc.
Got quite a collection of Ministry of Sound albums (by collection i mean not many probabley like 11 albums)
