Hotel Royale v9.2 Now Open!

From starting out as Top Retros' official hotel and later merging with Night Life Hotel to become GameOn365's official hotel, Hotel Royale has been through quite a lot over the years. However, we're proud to announce that Hotel Royale is back and better than ever.

We've been working on Hotel Royale v9.2 since the beginning of this year, so we've put a lot of time in to ensure that your time spent in the hotel and on the site is enjoyable and exceeds that of any other.

Starting today, you can once again enter the hotel and begin building awesome rooms or join us for staff-hosted events.

Quite a variety of furniture is available at this time, but we'll continue working to bring more to the hotel over the next few months. If there's any specific furniture or features you'd like us to add, please post in the feedback forum and we'll definitely consider it.

If you find any bugs, please report them in the tracker and we'll get to work fixing them right away.

Hotel Royale Development Update - February 2011

From starting out as Top Retro's official hotel and later merging with Night Life Hotel to become GameOn365's official hotel, Hotel Royale has been through quite a lot over the years. However, we're proud to announce that Hotel Royale is coming back soon and will be better than ever.

Development of the current version of Hotel Royale (v9.1) is once again nearing completion. At this time we've finished up work on the server and are currently doing some work to update the website and ensure proper connectivity.

Currently, we estimate a beta to be playable by the end of March, if not earlier. However, there's still a fair amount of work to be done, so this is subject to changes and delays.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Hotel Royale Site Redesign and Wiki

The Hotel Royale Wiki is also available for use now. You can use the wiki to find user-submitted information about the hotel or you can write your own or improve/update existing articles.

Hotel Royale Beta Now Open

The wait is finally over and we're happy to say that the Hotel Royale beta is live. This is the first beta using entirely new server-side software. We expect to find many bugs over the next few weeks, and will do our best to fix them as soon as possible. Please report any bugs that you find in the tracker.

Hotel Royale v9 Development Update

Hotel Royale v9 will require a complete recode of all web services to play the game. Most importantly, we will need to create an API for registration and logging in to make it a seamless experience to log in to the hotel with your forum account. We are also focusing on forum integration this time around. All information appearing on the new Hotel Royale CMS will be pulled directly from the forums - announcements, recent posts, competitions, events, the hotel wiki, rare values, and more. We have not yet decided whether the CMS will have the same skin as the forums or a hotel skin.

Major Changes

The new version of Hotel Royale will be based out of the forums - you will need to have a forum account before you can register on the hotel. Your forum display name and hotel name will be the same.
You will not have to re-enter all of your information to register at Hotel Royale. The only thing you may need to reenter is your password.
Forum points can still be exchanged for hotel items and converted to coins.
We may automate purchasing hotel items with forum points. (Currently, admins have to manually process all purchases.)
Each day, users that have less than 3000 coins will be given 500 more coins. (Amounts subject to change.)

Minor Changes

It will no longer be possible to have multiple accounts with the same email address.
If your forum account is banned, you will not be able to log in to the hotel account that is associated with it.
If your hotel account is banned, you will not be able to create another with the same forum account.
Administrators will have to manually process display name change requests from this point on.

We do not have a release date yet. If you'd like to submit any feedback about our plans, or if you've got an idea you think we should include, you can post it at the Hotel Royale Feedback and Suggestions forum.

An unknown error occured. Please try again later in a couple of minutes. If this error is persistant, submit a bug report on the forums

It did it a few times already to me.. not sure what the issue is.

Saw your post on TAZ. I have alot of Forum Moderation experience but Im not really here for that. Saw your forum and got hooked on the Nitrogen MMORPG idea. First of all, what game engine is it using and programming language may I ask? It is obviously 3D, but I am working my way up to developing that type of game format as I am currently taking Game Design in College. I would like to help develop this game voluntary (as well as stay an active forum member) so I could add this work to my game portfolio (if possible) to further my advancement in the Game industry. Please reply to my questions and let me know what type of Level Designers, Modelers, etc. you'll need and Ill more than likely be able to help.

P.S. Pretty cool you have a general gaming forum on top of having a Site hosted MMORPG. Nice touch. Thanks and happy gaming, Jam!

Here are a few screenshots of the demo from the engine that Project Nitrogen will most likely be using. While this is still subject to change during development, this is our current choice. These screenshots are from the demo game that comes with the engine, they are not from the game that we are working on, though there will most likely be resemblances if we do decide to continue using this engine. I cannot stress this point enough, these are not final release screenshots - they are early development screenshots and a lot of what you see will change.

i wish to comment on Royale Hotel. When in game, clicking on catalogues take very long to load. Not only that, some of the furnitures have some problems. For example, the Love section, the colour of the share bear is supposed to be yellow, green but instead it becomes grey or white colour. Also, the rollers seem to be stuck and not moving.
The friend list also has some problems. Friends added, appear offline when they are actually online. This makes the user very difficult to find their friends.
Thank you for hearing my troubles.

What will I get for designing furniture for Hotel Royale?
You will receive a badge forum points (which can be traded in for coins or saved up for a super rare) for each submission that we use in the hotel. The list below shows how many credits you will receive depending on what your item is used for:

1000 points for a single item if it is used as a rare
up to 4000 points for a group of items used as rares (same item in multiple colors, gold/silver/bronze are good to include)
up to 500 points for a single item if it is used as a normal
up to 10000 points for a group of items (entire line of furniture) used as a normal

You may be given a staff position on the hotel or forums if you submit a lot of furniture.

Can I submit CCTs that I didn't make?
Absolutely not. If you did not make the CCTs or if you released them somewhere else, you cannot submit them here. If you would like to see other furniture added that you did not make, please make a suggestion in our feedback forum. If you do submit furniture that you did not make, you may be banned from the hotel and/or forums.

What should I create?
You can create whatever you want! If you don't have any ideas, you can fill some of our requests below instead.

Throne recolors
Solid gold throne

Parasol recolors
Amber lamp recolors
Bird bath recolors
Cars and other vehicles
Computers, servers, and other technology-related items

Can I modify existing furniture?
Yes, you can, but you may not be given the regular amount of points for the submission. Modifying existing furniture is a good place to start if you are new to creating CCTs and designing furniture.

[TUT] How to stack using gold bars [TUT]

Items needed:
- Goldbar
- Yukka Plant (optional)
- Pineapple Plant (optional)
- Oil Lamp (optional)

Step 1.
Get your gold bar, and place it up against the wall
.

Step 2
Place the yukka plant on top of the gold bar.

Step 3
Rotate the gold bar

Step 4
Now put the pineapple plant on top of the gold bar. You have started stacking!

Step 5
Now rotate the gold bar again

Step 6
Now put the Oil lamp on top of the pineapple tree

After this, you can just move the goldbar - and you are finished!

NOTE
If you want to know how to fuse two furni's together - you can just use a mode hatch.
If you want another TUT about fusing - just ask and i will make!

Note that you don't need to use the items I used. This is just for demonstration purposes.
