Yeh, the reason i don't like hypercam is that (when unregistered), the unregistered sign pops out in videos.

Yea, i know. But it still wouldnt be worth paying for the registered version.

Quick Screen Recorder by Etrusoft
It's a great multipurpose recorder, doesn't leave out an ounce of quality, assuming you have the computing power to run it.
For game capture I would recommend Gamecam, Fraps, or Xfire has video recording.
Personally, I would prefer Xfire because it has a decent framerate and doesn't produce massive uncompressed files.
Both Quick Screen Recorder and Xfire are entirely free.

If we are talking about the same thing I use BSR Screen Recorder and Debut Video Capture. Both are free. The first one waterwarks though.
