Item Distribution and Restoration Policy

This policy will go into effect on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 at 4am server time.

Although we have gone to great lengths to ensure the integrity of the data on our servers and the safety of weapons, armor, and currency, occasionally players may lose this virtual property. Whenever possible, our staff will, upon request, attempt to restore lost items. Please keep in mind that restorations are never guaranteed.

Loss Due to Reasons Beyond a Player's Control
We will attempt to restore the virtual property if we can verify that your loss of virtual property was the direct result of:
  • A documented bug
  • Data loss due to a problem with our service (unless due to a global database revert).
Loss Due to User Error
We will attempt to restore the virtual property if we can verify that your loss of virtual property was the direct result of:
  • Accidental deletion
  • Falling victim to a scam
  • Any other user error
Refusal of Restorations
Keep in mind, we reserve the right to refuse any restoration.  Reasons a restoration may be refused include (but are not limited to) waiting an extended period of time to report the loss, no log data on our servers showing the loss, another player receiving the items after they were lost (except in the case of scams), or any other reason determined by the staff.

Staff Trading
Staff are not permitted to trade with or give items to players without evidence supporting the player's previous loss of the items.  Server logs are the only evidence that the staff may use when determining if a player has lost an item.  Screenshots and other user-submitted evidence will not be accepted or considered.

Asking staff for items may result in:
  • A warning
  • Your chat privileges being revoked
  • Your account being suspended
