In Topic: Best game on the PS2?

07 May 2011 - 05:02 PM

I bought a PS2 slim few months ago just for fun.

I enjoy to play Ace Combat 2 and the trilogy Crash Bandicoot.

In my opinion, Gran Turismo 3 is definitely the best games of the playstation 2. When it was released it was a revolution. Driving beautiful cars in a great simulation was just amazing for all players. It's one of my best remember as gamer.

I think GTA series and Final Fantasy series are good too but Gran Turismo 3 is for me the best game released on the playstation 2.

In Topic: Has the quality of modern PC games decreased?

I totally agree with your point of view!

I play less and less pc games currently.

The problem is based on customers. We live in a world where everything happens quickly. We do all things quickly. By this, programmers are confronted to short deadline to finish their games' developements. Editors ask them to develop shorter game than before with great graphisms. I think video games become more and more orientated to technology demonstrations and less and less orientated to players' experiences.

Moreover people have more and more hobbies. That's why many people prefer to play few hours on a game and not spend several weeks to finish a game. It's just an evolving of our society in fact.
