Hey who here plays counter strike source and if so what maps and mods do you usually play?

Personally I play jail break severs and office ALOT, jail break usually has a great community so its fun to chat to people while playing the game. and office is one of my favourite maps since people actually listen to eachother when you give eachother tips on where to go.

I used to play counter strike with my friend thru LAN but stopped few months ago when they stopped playing. It a pretty good game IMO.

Yeah I used to play it solidly every day, as well as the original CS, however none of my friends had it so once I bought my Xbox 360 it soon got boring. Now I just play CoD on my 360 with friends.

I like to play CS, and CSS, it is good to take the stress out of us :D
Well, sometimes it make us get stressed when we can't even kill no-one but this only happen sometimes! My favourite maps are Dust 2 and an other i don't remember the name now.... Aztec is on of my favourit's too...

I used to play it a lot, remember I quit playing for a while then went playing again with the same skill lol...

Oh man, do I used to play CS. I used to go to the local internet cafe and pwn noobs every day all day!
...then I just got sick of FPS games altogether. Now I play RPGs.

I played only CS 1.6, with friend thru LAN, cause I had old PC, now I have laptop, and I can run Call of Duty so I play rather CoD6 than CS 1.6, but today by coincidence I played CS 1.6 with brother thru LAN with 2 bots, superhero mod, it was funny :) I recommend you to try mods like Warcraft 3,Diablo, Superhero, and so on ;-) It´s funnier.

I used to play it some years ago but as I get my new laptop I might re-download it on Steam and start playing again. I really enjoy the game though, especially for how old it is

I like playing to Counter Strike 1.6 and to Counter Strike Source.

I prefer to play on Dust2 in gungame mode or deathmatch mode with the best weapon : the M16.

But since I bought a 360 I play less on Steam but if you want to play with me on CSS don't hesitate to send me a private message.

I do not played on counter strike source however I do play team fortress 2 which I do find really enjoyable as a casual shooting game :).
Would you say counter strike source is worth the money it costs?

How is Counter Strike seen lately? I've played a lot few years ago, 1.6 version. I also tried CSS for a short period, but I didn't have the best perfomance for it :). Now there are much better games and people are still stuck at Counter Strike. Is it worth playing it anymore?

The last time I have played counterstrike for at least a hour is more than 3 years ago. I still play from time to time but I leave after a few matches. The first time I have played counterstrike when it was still an add-on to half life. Can't believe that the add-on became more popular than the main game
