I've used Slax, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Sidux, and Ubuntu before and by far my favorite would have to be Ubuntu. I just like the interface, it's easy to set up and install, and I just really dig it

Ubuntu gets my vote. I've never tried any on the list but from the appearance of Ubuntu it looks very nice. I've seen a few images of its latest OS.

Definitely Ubuntu. It's the only Linux OS where I didnt have to bend over backwards to get all my components working properly. I installed Debian once to mess around with it and it took me forever to get my printer working which is a huge turn off when looking at a OS.

Ubuntu. I've been using it for maybe 2 years now, especially since I was too pissed off about Windows Vista at that time.
I've began to use Windows 7 since it came out, however. Nice to see Microsoft finally cares about making good products.

I can't believe Debian hasn't got more votes. Unbuntu is good to start with, but Debian is so much more powerful. Combine it with Tmux and you've got the perfect OS.
