Hotel Royale version 8 will be open soon. Here's a quick list of what to expect and what will be converted as well as some other frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions that aren't yet answered, feel free to ask them here.

What is Hotel Royale v8?
Hotel Royale v8 is a new server which improves greatly upon stability and features. Hotel Royale v8 also makes use of the Habbo Hotel v35 client files.

What are the new server features?
We focused mainly on stability for the new server. We improved greatly upon how the server keeps a connection to the MySQL database and automatic restarting after a crash. This should allow for near 100% uptime in the future. Expandability and the ability for us to make quick changes to the server later on was also improved upon.

What will be changed in the client?
With Hotel Royale v7, we used HH v26 client files. We will now be using HH v35 client files for the new release.

Will any data be lost in the conversion?
No, we are able to convert the database and will do so before the switch.

How long will the downtime be for the conversion?
Approximately 2 hours. After that, the hotel should be online again with the new server.

Will there be any changes to the site / portal?
Yes. However, we do not plan to make these changes immediately with HRv8. We plan to move to the forum-integrated portal for most of the site. At this time, a lot of the design for the main page is completed, but is not yet coded for cross-server compatibility.

Will any new furniture be released?
Not at this time.

No, you can only transfer your rares to the new hotel. Most other furniture can be purchased in the catalog.

this is gonna be a great update and making the hotel more consistent and better in a way and this will improve the system of the hotel all these updates are going to be great
