User Gropus and Descriptions

This topic lists all user groups at GameOn365 as well as how you may join or be invited to join certain groups.

Global Services Administrator

Global Services Administrators are administrators on all GameOn365 services. They are not assigned a specific service to work on.

Administrator

Administrators are responsible for reviewing any reported content, approving or discarding any posts in the mod queue, and making sure that the terms of service, all global rules, and forum-specific rules are followed. They also make sure that all moderators and super moderators are doing their jobs correctly. Administrators are also responsible for watching over the feedback forums and taking care of any user account issues.

Community Manager

Community Managers are on the front lines of the GameOn365 forums. They relay information from administration and development teams to the public, watch over feedback forums, and help maintain a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere at the forums. Community Managers are solely here to interact with the community and relay information to and from other teams to the public, though they may take on other tasks from time to time, as assigned.

Super Moderator

Super Moderators are not assigned to any specific forum and are responsible for reviewing any reported content, approving or discarding any posts in the mod queue, and making sure that the terms of service, all global rules, and forum-specific rules are followed. They also make sure that all moderators are doing their jobs correctly.

Moderator

Moderators are assigned to a forum and its sub-forums and are responsible for approving or discarding any posts in the mod queue in their forum as well as making sure that the terms of service, all global rules, and forum-specific rules are followed.

Project Nitrogen Team




The Project Nitrogen Team is responsible for developing and designing the game.

Project Nitrogen QA Team


The Project Nitrogen QA Team is responsible for finding and fixing bugs in the game.

Project Nitrogen Game Master

Project Nitrogen Game Masters are responsible for responding to and acting upon in-game support tickets and maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere in Project Nitrogen.

Hotel Royale Staff

Hotel Royale staff are members of a staff group in Hotel Royale.

Halo Server Admin

Halo Server Admins maintain the GameOn365 Halo / Halo 2 for PC dedicated servers. They moderate the servers for cheating and excessive flaming.

Advertising Manager

Advertising Managers are responsible for working with advertisers and maintaining the ad serving system at GameOn365. Root Administrators are also responsible for advertising, regardless of whether or not they are in this group.

Content Writer

Content Writers write articles in areas that interest them and post them to the forums for community discussion. They may also moderate the articles forum.

Radio DJ

Radio DJ's run the GameOn365 radio stream live and also manage the offline playlist. They may also moderate the radio forum.

Community MVP

Members can be nominated by a staff member to become a Community MVP. MVP's have access to an extra forum to communicate with staff and are expected to take an active role in the community by making helpful posts and answering general questions about the forums asked by regular members.

Member

Members are registered users with no special privileges.

Project Nitrogen Alpha Tester

Project Nitrogen Alpha Testers have access to Project Nitrogen during the second alpha phase to test the game and report any bugs they find. To join this group, you have to be a staff member, purchase a VIP subscription when Project Nitrogen goes into the second alpha phase, or purchase access to the group for 3,000 forum points. Under special circumstances, a staff member may invite someone to alpha test the game as well.

VIP+ ($5 / month)

VIP's are given extra benefits on the forums.

VIP Colors










VIP's are able to select one of these colors for their name.

Supporter ($10 one-time)

Anyone who donates to GameOn365 is a supporter. This does not include VIP subscriptions.

Community Helper (300 forum points)

Community helpers are expected to report content that violates the terms of service, global rules, and forum-specific rules.

Programmer (700 forum points)

Members of the coding team are expected to complete tasks assigned to them by forum administrators as well as fulfill an active role within the coding and/or web design forum.

Graphic Designer (700 forum points)

Members of the graphics team are expected to complete tasks assigned to them by forum administrators as well as fulfill an active role within the graphics design and/or web design forum.

Technology Experts (700 forum points)

Technology experts are expected to fulfill an active role within the technology forums and help other members with any technical issues they are experiencing with their computers.

System Builders (700 forum points)

System builders are experienced with building computers and hardware.

Private Server Experts (700 forum points each)





Private server experts are experienced with setting up and maintaining private servers.
