Copyright/DMCA Takedown Policy and FAQ's

GameOn365 will respond to allegations of copyright violations in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).  All complaints will be reviewed by our administrative staff before being acted upon.  In order to ensure that your request is received and acted upon as soon as possible, please follow the procedures outlined below.  All steps are required.

Creating Your DMCA Complaint

• Identify in detail the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed upon.
• Identify the content that you claim is infringing on your copyright, and provide information to locate it.  (This can be a URL to a page on our site, or the name and location of the content in one of our games or services.  Additionally, you may provide screenshots that may help us locate the infringing content.)
• Provide a reasonably sufficient method of contacting you; a U.S. phone number and/or email address would be preferred.
• Include the following statement: "I have good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted materials described above and contained on the service is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or by protection of law."
• Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
• Sign the document.  (Digital signatures are acceptable.)

Submitting Your DMCA Complaint

• Navigate to https://gameon365.net/index.php?app=nexus&module=support&section=new&department=15
• Enter your email address if you are not signed in to a GameOn365 account.  (This email address should be at a domain registered to the company submitting the complaint, or a company authorized to act on their behalf.  All updates and staff responses will be sent to this email address.)
• Include "DMCA Notice" and the title of the allegedly infringing content in the subject line.
• Include a plaintext copy of the complaint in the body field.
• Attach any other supporting documents (DOCX, PDF, RTF, TXT, XLSX accepted) or screenshots (BMP, JPG, PNG, TIFF accepted).  (In order to upload any documents, you will need to create an account with GameOn365 before submitting your complaint.  This can be done by following the 'Create Account' link at the top of the page.)
• Complete the security check.  (This is only required if you are not signed in.)
• Click the "Submit Request" button to submit the DMCA complaint.

Why doesn't GameOn365 proactively review all submitted content?
Due to the size and realtime nature of our community, we are not able to screen all submitted content before it is viewable by other users.

What is the fastest way to have my copyrighted work removed from GameOn365?

Is there any way that I can attach a file to my DMCA complaint without creating an account?
If you need to submit additional files without creating an account, please let us know when submitting your request.  We can then provide an alternate method for you to send the files to us, if we deem it necessary to complete the investigation.
