Users appearing as your friend, but you did not add or approve them

There are two possible reasons why a user may appear as your friend on your profile (and have access to any friends-only photo albums or blogs you have created and other information):

A software bug may have created an unlinked friendship between yourself and the other user that is appearing as your friend.
- To fix this: Visit the profile of the user that is appearing as your friend. Attempt to add them as a friend, go to manage friends from the settings dropdown at the top of the page (or click here) and remove them from your friends list.
Your profile may be set to automatically accept all friend requests.
- To fix this: Visit your profile settings from the settings dropdown at the top of the page, click the profile tab in your settings, and then enable friend approval. Then, go to manage friends from the settings dropdown and remove any unwanted users from your friends list.
