IRVINE, Calif – Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced plans for a limited-release Collector's Edition of World of Warcraft^®: Cataclysm^™, the third expansion for the world's most popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game,* World of Warcraft. The special Collector's Edition package, which will only be available at retail stores, will include the following exclusive bonus items in addition to the game disc:

Art of the Cataclysm art book, featuring 176 pages of never-before-seen images from the archives of the Blizzard Entertainment cinematics department and the World of Warcraft development team, as well as progressive visuals from multiple stages of development.
Exclusive in-game pet: he may not be a breaker of worlds just yet, but Lil' Deathwing will still proudly accompany heroes on their struggle to save Azeroth from his much, much larger counterpart.

GameOn365 to Upgrade Forums This Week

Sometime this week we will be upgrading our forums to the latest version of Invision Power Board. We're currently running version 3.0.5 and will be upgrading to 3.1.2. With this, we will be upgrading some of our other applications as well.

Here's what to expect:

A handful of skin bugs during the first week. While the current skin should remain usable, we will be working on an update for it as well.
A news post soon to introduce GameOn365 for iPhone and iPad. (An Android app is also in development.)
Many new features on the forums and installation of the IP.Nexus beta (more information)

Some other things we're working on:

Updates for the main site.
A new account management area.
Use of activation keys for closed betas and other redeemable items.
Changes to our current advertising system.
More contests and giveaways.

The Hotel Royale Wiki is also available for use now. You can use the wiki to find user-submitted information about the hotel or you can write your own or improve/update existing articles.

All users should be able to enter Hotel Royale again. Please post in the support forums if you are still not able to enter the hotel.

On July 16th (this Friday), GameOn365 will officially be one year old! We'll be celebrating throughout the rest of the month with competitions and giveaways.

We've made some truly amazing progress over the year. Whether it be the vast advancement and improvement of the code behind the site and games from our development team, the great volunteer staff members who help maintain our community, or our loyal members; we couldn't be happier. We will continue to maintain and update our services over the next year and beyond and strive to satisfy. We're happy to be able to have a well established staff presence in our community and a personal level of communication between our members and staff. We're exceptionally happy that we are able to review each and every bit of feedback we get as well as respond to and act upon some.

To start things off, every day from now until our anniversary on July 16th, we'll randomly pick a user from everyone who made at least one post during the day to win a month of VIP.

Hotel Royale v9 Development Update

Hotel Royale v9 will require a complete recode of all web services to play the game. Most importantly, we will need to create an API for registration and logging in to make it a seamless experience to log in to the hotel with your forum account. We are also focusing on forum integration this time around. All information appearing on the new Hotel Royale CMS will be pulled directly from the forums - announcements, recent posts, competitions, events, the hotel wiki, rare values, and more. We have not yet decided whether the CMS will have the same skin as the forums or a hotel skin.

Major Changes

The new version of Hotel Royale will be based out of the forums - you will need to have a forum account before you can register on the hotel. Your forum display name and hotel name will be the same.
You will not have to re-enter all of your information to register at Hotel Royale. The only thing you may need to reenter is your password.
Forum points can still be exchanged for hotel items and converted to coins.
We may automate purchasing hotel items with forum points. (Currently, admins have to manually process all purchases.)
Each day, users that have less than 3000 coins will be given 500 more coins. (Amounts subject to change.)

Minor Changes

It will no longer be possible to have multiple accounts with the same email address.
If your forum account is banned, you will not be able to log in to the hotel account that is associated with it.
If your hotel account is banned, you will not be able to create another with the same forum account.
Administrators will have to manually process display name change requests from this point on.

We do not have a release date yet. If you'd like to submit any feedback about our plans, or if you've got an idea you think we should include, you can post it at the Hotel Royale Feedback and Suggestions forum.

Shrek' better than 'Sex' with $43M at box office

LOS ANGELES – Movie audiences are showing more appetite for Shrek than for sex over Memorial Day weekend.

DreamWorks Animation's sequel "Shrek Forever After" remained the No. 1 movie for a second weekend with $43.3 million from Friday to Sunday. The film raised its domestic total to $133.1 million.

That easily topped the Warner Bros. sequel "Sex and the City 2," which was No. 2 with a $32.1 million debut that came in far below the $56.8 million opening weekend of its predecessor two years ago. Along with a $14.2 million haul in its first day Thursday, "Sex and the City 2" has brought in $46.3 million.

Debuting at No. 3 with $30.2 million was Disney's action tale "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."

Even with bad reviews and a running time of nearly two and a half hours for "Sex and the City 2," many in Hollywood had expected the sequel to open at No. 1.

But the fourth "Shrek" installment, itself opening far below the previous sequels, held up strongly in its second weekend. Family crowds continued to pack theaters for what is billed as the final big-screen tale featuring voice stars Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas.

Women made up 90 percent of the audience for "Sex and the City 2," which reunites the stars of the HBO series — Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — for an adventure in Abu Dhabi.

Beginning soon, GameOn365 will be releasing approximately 2-4 free files every month. Each file will be available to download for free for one month, after which it will be purchasable for $1 to $5.

We'd like to know what you would be interested in seeing. Currently, we're considering PSD's and other graphic resources, small applications and games, website templates, code snippets, and scripts. If you have any other ideas, please post them in a reply.
